Your CNIC is checked once, before your first bid. A seller is being asked to take his car off the market for the length of the auction on the strength of a bid, and that is worth something only if there is a real person behind it. The check is done by our own team and it is not repeated. What we hold, how long we hold it and how to have it deleted are set out in the privacy policy.
A bid cannot be lowered and cannot be withdrawn. Clause 5 of the terms is that a bid is a serious expression of interest rather than a contract of sale — but it is visible to the seller and to every other bidder, and an auction where bids came and went would be worth nothing to anybody.
